If you're serious, welcome. If not, chill out.

(Sorry I havent posted on any of the chans in a long time so I forgot how to reply to replies) but yeah I'm serious! Loved trains ever since I was a baby. I own multiple scale model trains too! That's my favorite of the k#27s

Also really like the K27 - Durango and Silverton? Rode it as a kid, loved it.

Lost some of my other Rio Grande pics so here's some dope 2nd Gen diesels.

Well isn't this just Grande! Welcome to the board. Those narrow gauge steamers are fantastic. I'm big into transition era CPR myself.

7chan's a lovely time capsule of late 2000s chan culture (including the script). It's the only chan (apart from 1chan, of course) I even occasionally bother to just browse around anymore.

Project chanology was a mistake.

I've always enjoyed the ATSF FP45s in the as-delivered paint scheme.

Like >6596 the CPR's transition era is a big favourite, primarily their southern BC area of operations.

Not sure if I ever posted this here, but earlier this year I completed my CLC fleet… 12 H16-44s, 1 H24-66, 6 CPA16-4s, and 4 CFB16-4s. Feel the thrum.

That's a thing of beauty!! Until now I've never seen a layout of a Canadian road where CLC held the majority on a roster. And that looks awesome. I am envious.

I just need 3 H16-44s, 1 CFA16-4, & 1 CPB16-4 to complete my desired roster. I don't have a family photo available but I have: 19 C-Line A-units, 11 C-Line B-units, 1 H16-44, and 1 H24-66.

I have a line on a long-hood forward H24-66 available from a local estate sale they may let go cheap. Possible candidate for the rare early wide-short hood variant.

Welcome aboard, traveler! Just for the record, this is normally a pretty slow board. The same threads will remain on the front page for a week or more. I suspect a lot of our regulars have other outlets for their train needs (I know I do) but should you wish to combine it with your Chan ways, this is the place to do it!

Is that purple stuff under the track, glue? If so, what kind?

 No.6705

DAP caulking, it isn't as aggressive as glue, so I can (sometimes) remove the fragile code 55 track intact. At $2 a foot, I hope it pays off. I chose the colour to look good under ballast, but I think a lighter brown would have been better in my case.

I wonder how old that photo is? It's been double tracked through there recently. I may still have the original someplace burned to a dvd a decade ago.

Checked the file on my computer, it's been there since 2010.
