Despite being named “Rail Wars!”, this fan service anime has mere scantlings for the rail fan. One of these is the fictional (in our timeline) KiHa 381, an express with gas turbine power cars.

The director of Edge of Darkness envisioned intercutting scenes of nuclear flasks being moved in order to maintain a sense of tension, but understandably BR wouldn't have anything of it. So they went to a heritage railway near Leeds, where they lashed up a pair of shunters and put a shell over them to look like a mainline diesel.

The Hall of Justice from "SuperFriends" looking lice Cincinnati Union Terminal is no accident; Hanna-Barbera's parent company at the time, Taft Broadcasting, was based in Cincy.

I have no idea. I haven't been fanboying Amtrak like I used to.

 No.5937

>>5465
is this real??

 No.5941

>>5937 – Yes. Incidentally, the T43 (another NOHAB product, btw) is a road switcher. So, basically, the MY and the T43 are as close to US style as could be had in Sweden.

Mind, the Wikipage on the movie says that the T43 did not actually show up.

 No.5944

I found the T43 image in >>5465 here:
